We so delighted to welcome Dr Eimear Connolly to our team at Woodlawn Medical Centre. Here is a little information about our new GP;
Dr. Eimear Connolly joins the Woodlawn Medical Centre team with 10 years of general practice experience.
Eimear qualified from UCD Medicine in 2006.
She initially pursued Paediatrics and achieved Membership of Royal College of Physicians in 2010, (MRCPI Paediatrics), along with Diploma of Child Health.
Following this, Eimear completed specialist GP training under HSE Dublin Mid-Leinster scheme. She qualified with Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) in 2014.
Eimear then spent six years in Melbourne, Australia where she continued her work in general practice.
She returned home in 2021, bringing with her a wide breadth of patient services:
She is particularly interested in Paediatrics, along with Women’s Health including contraception (implant and all coil procedures), shared antenatal care and Menopause care.
She is qualified LARC inserter and trainer with Irish College of General Practitioners, and holds Diploma of Obstetrics (DRCOG).
